so, mrs. shiavo was nothing more than a blob of skin, flesh and barely functioning electrical signals.

granted her parents wanted what all parents would want in that situation, to have their child back. but the refusal to accept modern science and their insistance that it was (and still is) a coverup is insane. and even more disgusting was the conservative right wing's using them for political gain and to raise money for themselves.

the poor girl was dead years ago.

so now, the christian fundamentalists are calling it a liberal coverup. and they say us liberals have whack conspiracy theories.

how about realizing that god doesnt perform selfish miracles according to the belief system they preach and pretend to practice? They sure preach it, but heaven forbid they practice what it really means to be a christian.

hopefully now, however, her family and all involved can let it rest and try and remember her as the living, loving, eating-disorder plauged young woman she was.
